Half of exons in another contig/should be reported?

Post by abarral » Thu Jun 12, 2014 11:42 pm

Hi,
a group of students are annotating biarmipes contig 29, and half of the exons of Asator are actually in contig 28. Should they be annotated also in the report submission for contig 29, or just referenced?
Thanks,
Ana

Your students are only responsible for annotating the set of complete exons of Asator in contig29. Please include a note in the Project Report indicating that the rest of the Asator gene is in contig28.
