Fosmid placement map

Post by dpaetkau » Thu Feb 07, 2013 2:57 pm

I know that I should know this, but either due to lack of sleep or aging brain cells, I can't remember where to find this picture.
Where can you get the map/picture of all of the finishing projects in relation to the whole project? The one that lets the students know which fosmid is to their right and left.

In the UCSC browser mirror on gander, you can select the ananassae genome, the Oct. 2010 (CAF1) assembly, and whichever scaffold you want (listed below this selection box on the same page). You may need to zoom out to see everything.

The direct links to the D. ananassae fosmid placement maps are also available on the GEP wiki under Current Research Projects. You can find the links to the three scaffolds we are currently working on under the Drosophila ananassae dot chromosome page.
